Hell City General Admission Info

The Hell City Tattoo Festival is a celebration of body art
and the education of tattooing and other forms of body modification for
all. Nowhere else can you find such a collection of skilled tattoo
artists in one area. Every year thousands of people come for the
weekend to be tattooed by the worlds best artists and hang out with
others in the tattoo community. If you see any of the attending artists
you would like to get tattooed by, it is a good idea to book your
artist early, you can do that by clicking the attending artists studio

does not just have tattooing as entertainment. All weekend long various
acts, contests, art fusion, and other entertainment happen in the
festival. This is a world class convention, smooth running, &
packed with hundreds of brilliant artists from the world over. Hell
City has come to be one of the industries favorite events. Everyone
appreciates the festival because the atmosphere is warm, jovial and
welcoming to the guests who come for a peek into another world. We
encourage you to explore the Hell City website, poke around, browse the
photo galleries of the past HC’s, and share them with your mates and
loved ones. Aside from TV specials and any vibe you think you get when
you drive by your local tattoo studio, where else will you learn the
truth of tattooing and other art forms? This is an industry tradeshow,
one that covers body modification in all forms, historical to
futuristic, education to exhilaration. Hell City is an exhibition of
all styles, be they painterly or bold, thematically obscure or even

Now your company has the opportunity to advertise inside the official
Hell City Tattoo Festival program that will be distributed to everyone
who enters the gates of Hell City over the weekend. All hellions in
attendance will be sure to see your company’s ad in full color on high
quality, glossy paper. The program contains schedule of events,
seminar info, competition info, Hell City ballroom map, and numerous
advertisements for artists, studios, and various companies. Be sure to

* ADVERTISE ON THE HELL CITY BIG SCREENS *
Hell City invites your company to advertise on our
big screens
during the festival. Your studio will be sure to get noticed by the
masses
during events and entertainment. These advertisements will run on the
big screens all three days of the festival as well as the 37" monitor
screens at the admissions booth. Each ad is rotated in
conjunction with event info and event footage. Ads will not be
displayed on the big screens during special events including, but not
limited to, music,
competitions and special events. The ads will run on the Admissions
booth monitor for the duration of the show, including during special
events when NOT on the big screens. These screens are huge and are full
color, they can not be missed by anyone attending.

* There are NO REFUNDS on presale tickets, admissions, raffles, seminars, or competitions!! *
* ENTER HELL CITY AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you are easily offended, please do not enter.

*BY ENTERING HELL CITY, YOU AGREE TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED, VIDEO TAPED
AND RECORDED FOR ANY AND ALL ADVERTISING AND FUTURE HELL CITY MEDIA AND
PUBLICATIONS.
*No smoking in convention hall, or Hotel
*No alcohol or food allowed in booths
* No food or drinks on tattoo artists tables, please respect the
artists portfolios and don’t get food on or spill your drinks on the
artists properties.
*No premies allowed! Infants must be carried, please no strollers due to heavy traffic congestion.
*Kids 10 and under get in HALF PRICE (not including premies)
*Minors must be accompanied by an adult
*Hell City reserves the right to deny entrance to anyone we deem
necessary.
*Hell City reserves the right for expulsion from
the convention at any time or for any reason without refund
*Attendees must wear wristbands at all times, no wristband=no
entry. Never share wristbands with anyone, this will be cause for
expulsion .
*Press Passes are available for TV & Radio stations, Newspapers, and Industry Magazines only. No professional cameras allowed without a Press Pass! Click here for the pass.
*NO SOLICITING! No handing-out fliers, postcards, or business cards
anywhere inside the show or anywhere within the convention area.
*Violators of admission rules will be removed from the fest without refund.

HELL CITY ARTISTS & VENDORS
PLEASE READ THESE RULES !!
* All attending artists must abide by all local health regulations.
These regulations are basic and pretty consistent to the health
regulations in many other states:
* BE IN YOUR BOOTH WHEN THE GATES OPEN EVERYDAY OF THE FEST!! DO NOT
stumble into your booth late after the gates have opened for the day!! This will weigh heavily on your return to Hell City!
* DO NOT break down your booth early Sunday of the HC Fest
until the festival has completely ended. It is very disrespectful to
the attendees and fellow artists at the festival to break your booth
down early!!!
* Artists will be allowed to work late to finish up
tattoos in progress, permitting only the artist and client are present
for the duration of the session. Sunday excluded.
* Your studio or yourself must have a website and/or webpage to be considered for a booth at Hell City. No Site = No Booth.
* Gloves must be worn when tattooing or piercing a client at all times.
* Sharps containers must be used. Each booth will have a complimentary
sharps container provided.
*All needles & razors must be properly disposed of into the sharps
containers provided at your booth.
* Pre-packaged, sterile instruments must be used during all tattooing
and piercing procedures.
* Be sure to bring enough tubes and instruments to get you through the
busy weekend.
* Anyone caught scrubbing tubes in public restrooms or hotel rooms will
be in violation of Ohio health codes and will be asked to leave the
festival and it's premises. BE SMART-BE SAFE!
* Hand-washing stations will be available in the artists area of the
Ballroom for all artists.
* Two autoclaves will be available for all artists to use.
* Suppliers will be present at the festival so you can buy any supplies
you need.
*Paper towels will be for sale in the private artist area of the
ballroom.
* Artists and piercers who are tattooing or piercing private areas
(nipples and genitals) must have an enclosed/private area to do this
in.
*Artist must comply with all needle agreements, care instructions and
client release forms.
*Artists must inform all clients in regards to
how to heal their new tattoos.
*Artists must bandage all new tattoos with lapcloths or drylock materials only. No saran wrap!
* The Hyatt Regency has asked that no private areas be visible while on
the Ballroom floor, improper exposure will result in expulsion.
* Board of Health fee’s must be paid prior to working.
* No food or drink allowed in tattoo booths.
* No smoking in tattoo booths or anywhere in the Hyatt.
* Attending Artists must pay Ohio’s Tattoo & Piercing Sales Tax, you
are required to collect and remit your own sales tax, hell city is not
responsible for artists taxes.
* Artists need to bring proof of practice insurance for Board of Health
inspections if you have it.
* Artists/Studios need to pay temporary licensing fee’s with the Columbus Board of Health.
* Artists need to bring cpr & firstaid certificates for Board of
Health inspections prior to be allowed to work.
* Artists need to bring bloodborne pathogens & cross contamination
prevention certificates for Board of Health inspections prior to be
allowed to work.
* THURSDAY EARLY ARTISTS SET UP will be from 5-8p.m. in the ballroom.
This gives artists a chance to partially setup prior to the fest.
*ARTIST / PUBLIC MEET & GREET
will be free & open to the public Thursday night after artist early
set up.
This will give HC artists the chance to meet new clients,set appts. and
meet artists attending.
* Hell City will be renting out massage tables and arm rests for
attending artists to use. There will be an hourly rate of $10. Items
must be properly wiped down & sterilized before returning.
* We're all at Hell City as a family of the flesh, leave your attitudes and ego's
at the door and treat each other as one!! This festival thrives on good
